- Estimated property value or recent purchase price
- Requested loan amount in US dollars
- Purpose of the loan funds

- Whether the property has any liens or mortgages
- Whether the property is owned personally or by a corporation
- Plano Catastro, meaning the official property survey plan, if available

This is not a U.S./Canada-style HELOC, revolving credit line, credit card, payday loan, auto loan, unsecured personal loan, or long-term 15- to 30-year bank mortgage. It is usually short-term private property-backed financing secured by Costa Rica real estate.
